School to school exchanges take place regularly between:

Collège Germaine Tillion (La Mézière), France
St.Joseph’s Secondary School (Rush/Co. Dublin), Ireland
Liceo classico-scientifico "V.Lilla" (Oria, Prov. Brindisi), Italy
Tallinna Saksa Gümnaasium (Tallina), Estonia
Happy Camp High School and Mount Shasta High School (California), USA
Shaoxing No1 High School (Shaoxing City), China

Moreover, the school has also participated in the European Comenius project fostered by the European Union for several years.

These school exchanges are of special importance to Gymnasium Friedrich II. because students have the opportunity to practise the languages they learn in school and to improve their intercultural understanding, which is of major interest to all of us in a globalised world.
